Gotham - Season 3 Episode 10: Mad City: Time Bomb
Season 3 opens with Gordon working in a monster-ridden Gotham as a bounty hunter and seeking to find answers about the Indian Hill escapees and why their powers appear to be killing them. Bruce's doppelganger roams the streets and Barbara and Tabitha open a nightclub called The Sirens.

Going back to the Lee/Gordon well seems like a misstep, but the developments of Nygma and Barbara's crew definitely made this a good step in what's been a great Riddler arc.

As suspected, Mario isn't as innocent as he appears, and on Gotham Season 3 Episode 10 we learned exactly what his little secret might be. It doesn't spell good news for Jim or Lee.

Bruce and Selina's discovery regarding the Court of Owls has re-energized what many assumed would be the major thrust of the season but which has taken a backseat ever since Bruce made a truce with the secret organization earlier this season.

"Time Bomb" was a particularly bloody episode of Gotham, but it balanced the gore by tying together multiple plotlines in satisfying ways.
