The fourth season begins with a man believed to have been wrongly convicted in a serious case. The man appears to be charged with a triple murder by the prosecution team that included Benny. Paul, on the other hand, is preparing for more challenges in that period. It seems that Bull will face C's path during his work at TAC without his top lawyer, Penny, who resigned a while ago.

Thankfully, over four seasons, the producers of this show have toned down his early, insufferable arrogance to a level closer to justifiable confidence, with even an occasional hint of doubt.
