Another season begins with new exciting cases such as the struggle of detective Gibbs, who investigates on the mysterious murder of a Naval Reverse lieutenant who has been shot.

What resulted was a very strong episode and plenty of questions answered, but also more loose ends to say the least.

The Gibbs and Tony interaction was absolutely superb and may have been some of the best I've seen in this series so far.

Part of the appeal of NCIS has to be that it's not hard to get the lay of the land and keep the characters straight even if you do start to feel half asleep while watching it, which is not an unlikely development
