White Collar is a USA Network television series focus on Neal Caffrey, a skilled forger and thief. In second season, Neal goes undercover as a political 'fixer' in order to bring down a corrupt politician. Diana and Peter';s lead brings them to an unidentified man who escapes their pursuit. It is also revealed that Peter had Diana keep the music box';s location hidden even from Peter himself. Neal begins to suspect that Peter is investigating the plane explosion behind his back.

While the second season premiere of White Collar lacks the story progression that fans were hoping for, it's still able to deliver a solid hour of entertaining television.

What White Collar did best, though, was to reestablish the easygoing rhythms and longish, thoughtful-ish colloquies between Bomer's Neal Caffrey and DeKay's Peter Burke.

White Collar may not be reinventing television as we know it, but it's gotten better at delivering on its strengths - light character drama and caper-ish crime proceedings.

Though it would be nice if the storyline itself were less contrived, the characters make up for any other shortcomings White Collar has.

The leads are fun, and if they can get guest stars the caliber of Matheson every week, I can learn to ignore the arc stuff the same way I do for most USA shows.

The bro-mance between the art thief and his by-the-book FBI handler is still the best reason to watch this show.
