Saturday Night Live - Season 45 Episode 07: Will Ferrell/King Princess
The 45th season is complemented by more different performances including short theatrical performances and parodies. There are strong conversations about TV commercials and everything that happens behind the scenes. The season starts with musical guest Taylor Swift and musical guest Camilla Capello, who are making a new TV show.

While I was hoping to get a little bit more from Will Ferrell returning to Saturday Night Live for his fifth time as host, this was still a fairly enjoyable episode.
November 24, 2019
Farrell's game hosting and the stream of surprise guests improved an otherwise bland episode, although given the sheer volume of talent on stage throughout the night it's disappointing memorable moments were in short supply.
November 24, 2019
No matter how dire the sketch, Will Ferrell is in.
November 25, 2019
This is basically the kind of monologue only Ferrell can pull off. Tracy Morgan shows up and it goes off the rails, in the best kind of way.
November 24, 2019
The end result offered some laughs, but was hardly funny enough to justify the menagerie, which basically describes the whole episode.
November 25, 2019
As an all-time great cast member, one of the best things about Will Ferrell as a host is that he's not afraid to share the comedic spotlight with others.
November 24, 2019
Rather than look at this episode as a failure, perhaps it's better look at it as the prime example of how absolutely nothing about this show is predictable.
November 24, 2019
It was the best monologue of the still-young season, and one of the many highlights from this weekend's above-average show (which admittedly got off to a rough start with that lazy, laugh-free cold open).
November 24, 2019
What could be more reliable than a Will Ferrell-hosted SNL?
November 24, 2019
"Heinz" is a funny commercial parody about those awkward, and trite jokes about big meal toots. And the reveal - that ketchup bottle farting has been replaced with sexual moaning - is clever.
