NYPD Blue - Season 3
The series goes back to more criminal and dramatic events during the third season. The season begins as Roswell seems to want Andy to teach Bobby that she is doing everything right. On the other hand, James was shot and may be paralyzed for life, and it is possible that the aggressor will be released because he may appear to be a government witness. As for Donna, she tries to show Bobby's interest in him, and connects Bobby and Benita to use it to help press the DA.

Most immediately apparent is a change -- a subtle tweaking, it seems to me of the music score running under the first sequence. It plays just a bit harder, a bit tougher, a bit edgier than usual.
