The series returns again through Season 5, where the idea of escaping from the clutches of the lady and reunion with Lucy. The Killjoy trio tries to get into a new experience and wonders whether there is a traitor among them or not. On the other hand, Triple Killjoy works to find a way out of jail that seems to be very mysterious.

It's a testament to the show that it knows when to give the characters a chance to shine. Watching D'av and Lucy interact doesn't move the plot along in any way, but not every moment needs to do so.
