Finding the way back to earth is starting to work for US astronaut John Crichton, who has entered a major intergalactic battle with the help of a group of extraterrestrial rebels. It seems strange, but John is trying to reach Earth again after he has made a hard trip outside the planet.

The season can be a little offputtingly weird in the early going, and there are two all-time bad episodes back-to-back in the middle, but overall this is such a fundamentally solid and sound season of television.
