Season 2 opens with Ben and Annie returning to Washington D.C., where Ben disappears again. However, Annie is quickly assigned another mission when she has to protect an Estonian tennis player who is considered a CIA asset but who claims to want to end her connection.

A good episode but not a great series premiere. That said, it's great to see Annie and the gang back in action - I'd missed them!

Covert Affairs isn't for everyone, but it's a fun show that doesn't ask too much of its audience (or actors, for that matter).

It's another well-told story that gives us a bit more insight into the pair while the season's two interconnected running story lines spool out behind them.
