It is a series of events that tell Eli Cohen, who was Israel's national hero. Cohen lived in Damascus secretly in the early 1960s and spied for Israel. In a short time, Cohen was able to integrate himself into Syrian high society and rise to the ranks of their politics. Within a short period of time, the Syrian regime was able to uncover Cohen and sentenced him to death and was publicly hanged in Damascus Square in 1965.
