Although the revival doesn't quite hit the mark on what made audiences fall in love with McCracken's original series, The Powerpuff Girls is an excellent addition to the franchise.

The Powerpuff Girls benefits from sharp animation that improves on their original images and a revolving door of comically evil villains who always manage to be foiled by three grade-schoolers.
