The jokes that do hit on "Life and Times of Tim" suggest that Dildarian might be onto something really good if given time to fix the slow spots.

I realized how great it works as a cringe comedy. It's got it all: deceptively simple setups, ulterior motives, and head-shaking denouements. But, at just 12 minutes each, the episodes wrap before they can really set teeth on edge.

"The Life & Times of Tim," the new, offbeat, animated series, is one that works like crazy - and no, it doesn't hurt to be crazy to love this show.
