The series follows the anime story that mourns the orphan named Jack. Jack is a 13-year-old boy who lives in his monster-filled town, which looks like a place full of surprising events. Jack will have to think fast, find friends and try to communicate with them if he wants to survive and escape the painful reality.

It's all fine. It's not, like, great, but it's fine. And in the end, June disabuses Jack of all notions of damsel-saving, and the four kids save the world together, with remarkably negligible blood and gore. It's fine.

The Last Kids On Earth is one of the best kids' shows we've seen all year, mainly because it has plot and character development worthy of shows for grown-ups.
