In the second season, the series appears to be full of surprises and surprises: John, who finds himself fighting an unlikely adversary alone. Derrick and Charlie are looking for the lost family after a loud explosion. Sarah, Derek and Cameron try to prevent a dangerous nuclear collapse that will destroy everything. From another point of view, Cromarty tries Charlie and Michel to engage in a conspiracy to seduce Sarah in the desert and leave John alone.

The show's mission boils down to "stop the robots, save the world," but always adds wild, often tiring convolutions. My interest ebbs and flows depending not on the plot but on which character is in the action.

Dekker's Connor has a steel in it we've yet to see in the character. John's finally stepping up to the plate, and it's about damn time.

This season's opener is much clearer and more sheer fun than anything that aired last spring. And Summer Glau is still quite a treat as the robot sent to protect Connor from murderous cyborgs.

Gritty writing, vivid characters and dynamic visual style did not attract enough audience to justify the budget and it was cancelled after the superb season...most riveting is the evolution of the robots, making them more "human" and less predictable.
