As with the book, I'm not sure I would have been so drawn to it if it hadn't been for Rowling's name. But such is the wonder of branding. Now that I'm here I can see myself sticking around for the long term.

As late summer fare goes -- maybe that should read "fayre" in the circumstances -- The Cuckoo's Calling is perfectly enjoyable.
