The Bad Batch isn't at all hiding that it wants to be a continuation of The Clone Wars. Fans looking for something new, or easily accessible, probably won't find it here.

A smaller episode that features a nice surprise for long-time fans.

Future episodes will have hopefully be more careful in integrating Omega's kidishness into the darker storytelling.

The second episode is really the first one in the series to show how the dynamics are starting to change during the Empire era.

"The Bad Batch" had a bit of action in this latest episode. I don't feel as though the story progressed too much. Instead, we were treated to a new glimpse at how the Empire will impact this galaxy. And this is brilliant.

Directed by Steward Lee and written by Gursimran Sandhu, "Cut and Run" down-shifts the premiere episode's bombast for some much-needed character growth from the new kid in the batch, Omega.

The smaller pieces of the overarching story are much more interesting here than the 'A Plot' of the episode.

Not as good as the first episode, but hopefully setting the stage for some great emotional payoffs later

Truly, this episode really solidifies that Hunter has become a father figure to Omega, even if not so much by choice but out of a moral duty to protect her the second Kamino became an unsafe haven.

Fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will have a special surprise in this one, as a familiar character is a major part of it.

What I really liked about this episode too was that Hunter didn't second guess her after that moment.
