The battle-hardened Commander Wolffe and senile Gregor make this troupe one of the more entertaining ensembles in the Star Wars Universe.

I kind of like this new take on Ezra. He started as a pseudo-Chosen-One, smart alec kid, but now he comes across as a more sure-footed Steven Universe, a positive, go-for-broke apprentice that makes for a great little foil.

Once again hewing closely to the spirit and template of the original, the show continues to revel in the latitude afforded by animation to dole out bountiful helpings of action, garnished with considerable wit and a welcome sense of fun.
