Stan Against Evil - Season 1
A series of comical and terrifying events comes along the lines of a story about a strangled policeman who is on a mission to help the new Sharif against a group of angry demons to protect their small village from destruction. The events begin with a strange man asking Stan to see his wife's own dig, but Stan denies it. On the other hand, Dennis survived by joining a group of Gothic children trying to connect with the demons of the city.

November 01, 2016
Stan Against Evil is light, if violent, entertainment. The jokes are moderately funny, the characters two-and-a-half dimensional.
November 04, 2016
There are enough solid comic actors in the ensemble, led by Janet Varney, to make you think it will work as a series.
November 02, 2016
Stan Against Evil toys with horror cliches and assures you that whatever you fear, something worse -- or funnier -- is right around the corner.
October 31, 2016
It's silly fun without breaking any new ground.
November 02, 2016
Stan Against Evil (IFC) is the horror-comedy equivalent of a pop-up Halloween store on November 1: messy, threadbare, vaguely depressing in its drab bereftness.
February 21, 2017
Comedy-driven horror has fantasy gore, cursing.
November 03, 2016
Too much of Stan Against Evil is boilerplate comedy when it's not eerily reminiscent of Ash vs. Evil Dead.
November 01, 2016
Despite a sparse but promising cast of supporting players, this is McGinley's showcase, a not-unpromising prospect for anyone still missing his turn as secretly-soulful, motor-mouthed alpha male Perry Cox on Scrubs.
November 02, 2016
An inconsistent but sporadically effective horror-comedy that often rises to the level of "just fine" and periodically even hits "pretty good," thanks in huge part to the central star turn by John C. McGinley.
November 02, 2016
It's a fun premise, though the series doesn't quite have a full handle on the tone and characters yet.
