During the second season, Max and Laura are approaching, as Sergeant Gray and Kevin try to get the giant Coconut Crab found in Pearl Bay. Meanwhile, Max's old friend Paula returns to the city, but their friendship seems fine at that time. Heather and Bob go to a new marriage counselor to find a new solution, especially as concerns about their sexuality become unusual for Bob.
