After going viral, an Internet video soon leads to problems for teenager Audrey and seemingly serves as the 'catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the small town of Lakewood';;;;;;;;;;;;s troubled past', high school student Nina and her boyfriend Tyler are brutally murdered which soon rattles Lakewood to a murderer who struck 20 years ago. At the same time, the town';;;;;;;;;;;;s sheriff is joined by the medical examiner, Emma';;;;;;;;;;;;s mom, in investigating the murder, as they fear it may be connected to a dark chapter in the town';;;;;;;;;;;;s past.
