Saving Grace - Season 2
This television drama series follows Grace Hanadarko, a youthful hopeless police detective, who has a miserable life, as she is addicted alcoholism, has an affair with her partner, a married investigator, and has no point throughout everyday life, has been changed totally, when she meets an angel, that makes his mind to assist her with fixing every one of the issues she has throughout her life and starts an unmistakable existence without any transgressions, as he saves her from a car accident. In this new season, Grace insists on exacting revenge from Father Murphy.

As before, the "big picture" plotlines are often the least convincing, mostly because the trippy angel talk is tough to pull off.

It's not a bad show, but the mechanics of how they're going to abduct their latest target are far less engaging than how the team interacts with each other and how each member fights his or her compulsions.

This will be good news to people who enjoy watching train wrecks in which the engineer accelerates as the precipice nears, which is Grace's signature move.

Season Two is considerably easier to swallow than Season One was, however, so one hopes that the trend will continue into Season Three.

It's hard to imagine any more secrets half so fraught, but Holly's clowning gets closer and closer to dread.

I'm still thrown by the "talking to angels" bit, and I think the level of pain in Grace's life rises to the level of overkill at times, but the show is unlike anything else on TV.

Saving Grace is less about its procedural storytelling than it is about simply creating a venue to showcase Hunter's undeniable smallscreen star quality.

No, it's not an easy show to like. But there are humor and sadness and real life. And, better yet, there's Holly Hunter in the role of her life.

A strange feeling came over me when I was watching the Season 2 premiere of Saving Grace. I actually wished that the episode was longer.
