Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill! was the most straightforward episode of Riverdale to date. It was very high school soap opera, which isn't a bad thing.

Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill! is the best possible version of a Riverdale episode, delivering everything we could ever want out of this show, unless what we want is a compelling storyline featuring Archie Andrews.

I would like to start by saying that Alice Cooper has earned my respect and affection by being the only person on Riverdale to inflect the extremely implausible nickname "Jughead" with the derision it deserves.

I mention Riverdale's focus on history and pop culture at the top here because Chapter Six: Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill! is perhaps the series' most clever look at the way the past interacts with the present.
