Season 3 opens with Larry getting a job at the Chicago Chronicle as a reporter and has to write an article by the next morning. He brings Balki in to find a job and Mr. Burns, the city editor, hires him for the mailroom, to the annoyance of mailroom boss Mr. Gorpley, who tries to get him fired.
