The second season begins with the events of the previous season, with recent events that could reveal John's plan to assassinate Cantor Wally. John decides to take precautionary measures on this, and John is working against the standard protocol that causes a great danger. On the other hand, John is nearing completion of his seemingly very dangerous mission, and friends are exposed to a great deal in an unprecedented way.

There's a confident swagger to this second season that's often glorious to behold as it makes a few broadly funny decisions with body parts and feels more confident exploring longer, nuanced, ornately constructed streams of dialogue between characters.
