The series centers on a couple who meet in a Chicago Overeaters Anonymous group and fall in love. Mike often caves in to his mother's demands, much to Molly's dismay, but his relationship with Molly has made him much more independent.

There's a real sweetness to the tentative romance brewing between Mike and Molly. It helps that both actors, able supporting players in the past are immensely likable and share good chemistry and timing.
