We return again during the fifth season through a wide range of powerful and diverse events. The season begins with Lev and Clive, who are investigating a murder without a body and without evidence, as things seem to be going at a bad turn. On the other hand, Betten tries to communicate with a member of the House of Advisers Zaid in order to request but did not get the answer. It seems that Betten did not get the answer she was hoping for, and Lev has big surprises.

Much like the slow, often scary changes we've seen in the real-world, iZombie's setting has lost much of its sense of stability, resulting in acts of violent desperation that have become frighteningly more common in real-world America.
