The series follows the diaries of Jackie Quinones, a sad lesbian in Provincetown, Massachusetts who lives her life normally. The National Marine Fisheries Services agent begins a harsh mission when he uses their pistols and emblems to catch them. One day, Jackie 's life turns upside down when she discovers a body in Cape Cod Bay, and finds herself in the midst of a terrible heroin epidemic.
