The events of this musical drama series look at the history and the talk of two of the most famous characters. The series presents a look at the romantic and creative partnership of influential dance designer / director Bob Foss with that girl named Gwyn Verdon, one of the greatest Broadway dancers of all time. This relationship was controversial at some point in history, as both seem to have presented a different romantic artistic model.

While it may be uneven and repetitive at parts, Fosse/Verdon more than than pays off in entertainment value and some gorgeously emotional moments by actors diving deep into the material.
