I'm a little bit in love with the cold opens of Fargo. So far, each one has been immediately attention-grabbing and haunting.

There's something immensely refreshing about that-about seeing someone decide to come clean without having to be forced. Much of Fargo is pretty darn cynical about human interaction, but here is a sequence of pure, unadulterated optimism.

I'm still loving Fargo. The quirkiness works well. It's not so over the top to be ridiculous, instead it's even somewhat believable given the context of the world.

Billy Bob Thornton fans who wanted more of Lorne Malvo's fiendish antics last week should have had fun watching "A Muddy Road."

while "A Muddy Road" is another excellent episode of what's been an excellent series so far, it doesn't have that transcendent quality I usually want before going there.
