Columbo - Season 5
The fifth season completes a new series of events, when one person shot a calming pistol, and let the bull kill one of them. It seems that Colombo, who is on vacation in Mexico, is attracted to this situation by a colleague who can change course but is having trouble convincing the Mexicans that the accident is indeed a murder.

Columbo: The Complete Fifth Season maintains the high standard of previous years; the teleplays, direction, and performances are consistently several notches above practically everything else airing in prime time in the mid-1970s.

Aside from its upending of the series' formula, "Last Salute to the Commodore" features what may be [Peter] Falk's most outrageous performance as Columbo.
