The story takes place in Shawshank State Penitentiary, a prison which is situated amidst Maine forest, the series takes after a man called Henry Deaver, a death-row lawyer who is going to recollect his dim past in the wake of getting a call drives him to go to that jail in the place where he grew up, Castle Rock.

If "Severance" is any indication, it's not the diverse strands of the Stephen King Extended Universe that's holding this thing together: It's André Holland... He makes Castle Rock feel like a drama, not the haunted-house ride at the county fair.
