The second season begins two years after the invasion, where a dead man can wake up and change course as he begins to send Hella on a mission. Villan's new life is beginning to crumble directly, and there is more uncertainty about Rourke about Ferran. Hella decided to make a new offer to Ulus that could reflect things he could not resist or reject.

None of this amounts to much dramatically or emotionally, of course. Britannia is one of those shows you just have to imbibe, celebrating that it has the sheer cheek even to exist. Praise the capricious TV gods!

It is all a bit of a riot if you don't take a second of it seriously (which also helps to make the graphic violence less vile).
