Bob is starting to recover from a severe heart attack, as he is now determined to win Abichola's heart in any way. This comic series provides insight into the lives of immigrants in America.

Ostensibly, the show is an attempt to bridge cultural differences... In practice, however-and despite the participation of Nigerian-British co-creator Gina Yashere-it exoticizes its female lead and cracks easy jokes grounded in stereotypes.

Bob Hearts Abishola has just enough heart (no pun intended) to put it ahead of how most Chuck Lorre comedies started, including huge hits like Two and a Half Men or The Big Bang Theory.

There's no denying Lorre's gift for hooking an audience... Bob Hearts Abishola may be the funniest (and certainly the sweetest) pilot the man with the golden laugh track has ever produced.
