Black Summer - Season 1
It's a series of terrifying adventures that we live in the dark. The series begins in the early days of the end of the world by that dangerous zombie. A group of strangers tries to reach safety by finding the strength they need to escape. Now, those must survive and return to their loved ones but it seems very difficult. On the other hand, William and Sun, trapped in an abandoned restaurant, must decide whether they can rely on the survivors of the truck or it will take a different turn.

Although far from being the best of the genre, Black Summer is the zombie apocalypse series I've most enjoyed since the first season of The Walking Dead. [Full review in Spanish]

A bleak, dull affair that mistakes camera movement for narrative energy and has about as much life as the walking dead.

In a sense, Black Summer is The Walking Dead without all the bloated melodrama, kooky villains, and pretentious blabbering.
