In a spy agency in New York, spies work in a comedy and suspense atmosphere. Archer, is an animated comedy that revolves around the life of spies in particular, Sterling Archer, a gentle spy master who suffers from working with, Malory, his domineering mother and also his boss, and ,Agent Lana Kane, his ex girlfriend ,and Comptroller Cyril Doggie, her new boyfriend.

Nothing signifies the weird swerve Adam Reed and company are doing with this season of Archer better than Crackers The Macaw, the latest addition to the show's cast of consistently dysfunctional characters.

The bona fide Archer is still in bed, though we can only presume that much. The new season doesn't even bother checking in with him before it's off and running in its own fantasy.

Danger Island is a follow-up spring break in Miami. There's still pleasures to be had, but it's all a bit hollow...undercutting of all prior narrative stakes is very Archer, but it's also a little disappointing for those looking for any resolution.
