"Forbidden Fruit" is easily the best episode of the season. It picks up the pace and it actually feels like the plot starts to get moving here.

Although it feels redundant to point out how crazy any given American Horror Story episode is-I mean, aren't they all?-Wednesday's installment is certainly a contender for the What the Hell Is Going On? award.

There was a welcome supernatural lightness in those final moments... That's not to say the season's about to get exponentially better, but it was a very welcome shift from the Lazy Susan of aggravation these past few weeks have offered up.
