Heath Allyn is a versatile character actor who can't be pigeon-holed into any single genre. While known for his natural comedic and improvisational abilities, he enjoys exploring the entire spectrum of acting and is equally adept at playing villains and dramatic roles as well. From leading men to quirky supporting characters, he continues to craft a multi-dimensional and textured career.His main influences are great character actors like Gary Oldman who have played an immense variety of unique roles and disappeared into each one.He is also an accomplished musician as well as a writer and director.Born in Bryan, TX, to Paul and Kathie Allyn, Heath's mother was involved in community theater and so he was being toted along to rehearsals practically from birth. He made his own stage debut in 1981 and continued to perform heavily in local theater.In 2003 he moved to Austin, TX with his wife (married 2002-2009) where he made his transition to primarily acting in TV and Film, though he still tries to get back to his theater roots when time allows.
