Derek was born in Seattle, Washington and was raised in Scottsdale Arizona. He attended Whitworth University and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. Derek also has worked on his MBA degree at the Ken Blanchard school of Business in Phoenix, Arizona. He is currently writing and developing Christian based films through DRB entertainment. Derek was a collegiate athlete in college and ran the 400 meters . After working on Independent films Derek has juggled a Family based Aerospace material testing company up in the Pacific Northwest.
