The Red Line - Season 1
The series begins with a different drama with which three families experience a different experience in their lives. Three families in Chicago are facing a real tragedy as they try to reach hope and heal for what happened. After a white policeman fires at an unarmed African American doctor, things seem to be going on a catastrophic turn, as these families try to face that painful challenge.

What we have in The Red Line is a show that lacks the rudimentary craft necessary for elementary propaganda -- even the program's natural allies will likely be alienated, because it's treating them like dopes.

At times overly earnest, "The Red Line"...is imperfect, but its existence demonstrates broadcasters haven't completely thrown in the towel on quality drama and for that viewers can be grateful.
