This series follows the story of a teenage girl in Glasgow embarking on a different life and a new era. This teenager decided to agree to a child carrying the couple Dan and Emily, as she faces a new turn. Things seem to be different as the teenage girl faces a new situation and may be full of clashes.

For quite a lot of the first episode I wasn't wholly sure whether I was watching a thriller at all, or whether it was all supposed to be more about middle-class hypocrisy, or underclass desperation, or parenthood, or fertility, or what.
