The series tells of a terrifying conflict waged by humans and vampires. The story began when America was quarantined by the rest of the world, where things seemed to have moved on a bad track. Now, humans and vampires coexist on the opposite coasts thanks to a peace treaty, but there are more daily conflicts where each side plans to destroy the other.
