Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
This movie revolves around the life of a poor boy that gets the perfect chance to see the most bizarre and spectacular candy factory. While he was in the midst of exploring the factory, he finds that the whole tour is made to test his character.

This is Gene Wilder's legacy. He was perfect for the role, and it was his mixture of childlike wonder and bitter, deserved vengeance that made the character so compelling.
