The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
In a dramatic atmosphere, the movie follows Juliet Ashton, the beginner but gifted writer. She has a chance to meet a group of women from Guernsey, the island that was occupied by the Nazis during the Second World War. By listening their tales, Ashton decides to write a book to tell about their struggles during the war time.
