Penance
Father Ion O'Donnell stresses that the use of violence is the only way to force Britain out of Ireland. The father tries to influence a disciplined little boy called Antaine to fight in 1916. Fifty years later, a surprise comes when Antony arrives at Derry as a seasoned and strong armed man. This sudden appearance Eoin casts back to the cause of his collapse in 1916, and will probably have great echoes.
