Oma maa (Land of Hope) [Sub: Eng]
It is those events that speak of the times that followed the Second World War. Things were already catastrophic from 1945 to 1952 when Finland was forced to settle more than 440,000 evacuees during that period. It is that story that recounts the war deficits of Karelia, where everything was devastating but more than 100,000 new homes were created during that postwar period.
