After her beloved aunt passed away, Mackenzie inherits her inn. She decides to restore the hotel to its original grandeur and then sell it before Xmas. Unbeknownst to Mackenzie, she receives some unexpected help from a cheerful handyman and his elves, who helps Mackenzie realizes the true meaning of Christmas.
