A divorced and single parent, Eva (Julia Louis Dreyfus) spends her days enjoying work as a masseuse but dreading her daughter';s impending departure for college. In the terse space film provides, Holofcener capturing her characters deftly. We know their fears, needs, lonesomeness. We trust the cars they drive, the food they eat, the rooms they keep tidy, or not.
