Doomsday (2008)
The film tells the story of an elite fighting unit who must battle to find a cure in a post-apocalyptic zone controlled by a society of murderous renegades as they try to prevent it from ushering in a new dark age.

Most fantasy-action films blow their budgets in the first half-hour, and limp home with their makeup smeared. Doomsday is unusually patient, smartly saving most of its fireworks for the later innings.
