When he was a child, Dickie Roberts (David Spade) was one of the stars of a popular TV show. Desperate to make a comeback, Dickie hires a foster family to re-create the childhood he never had.

Just a platform for Spade to tell smutty jokes to kids, fall off bicycles, puncture waterbeds, and, oh yes, learn the real meaning of family.
