Daddy Day Care
While his wife, Kim, brings home the bacon, unemployed Charlie spends his days caring for the couple's young son. With help from a friend, Phil, Charlie decides to start a day care center. Enrollment quickly surges, and, as they add another employee, goofy Marvin, Charlie finds himself dealing with endless red tape. Will he be able to keep the business afloat, or will parents defect to Mrs. Harridan's day care center.

A harmless and amusing summer comedy.

the appeal of the movie doesn't go much farther than the concept
May 13, 2003
[Murphy's] charming enough in this restrained mode.
May 09, 2003
Murphy is so oddly bland in Daddy Day Care that it seems like he sleepwalked through the making of the film.
July 15, 2014
These scenes are so inevitable, you could develop a drinking game around them.
January 04, 2004
Daddy Day Care just wants to make you laugh, and make your kids laugh too.
May 09, 2003
Daddy Day Care doesn't rank with the most awful of the Murphy turkeys, but it's definitely flat as a pancake, fueled by bathroom humor, listless pratfalls and recycled, borderline-offensive jokes about the ineptitude of men as caretakers.
July 06, 2004
My advice is to beat your children rather than take them to Daddy Day Care.
May 09, 2003
Tepid attempt at comedy.
